What good is it?

I must ask, what good is it to have a back log of blogs to read if you don't act upon the advice given. I noticed this this morning when I was reading in Google Reader. I had 15 posts in there that I shuffled through and looked at knowing that I probably wouldn't give a damn about any of it tomorrow. Yeah, it's good reading, but what good is it if you don't act on it?
