Hell Yeah, It's the weekend.

Slow times here at the newspaper office. Not much going on in the Halfway/Van Town area. I'm doing some yard work today if you all believe that shit. It's called pulling a nut busting roller behind the four wheeler until it runs outta gas. I'm sure my trusty dog Bouncer will be right there with me just waiting for the perfect time to run out in front of me. Damn pit bulls. Hope all is well in your counties. Polk County rocks. I want to thank the Polk County Department of Transportation for their donation of rocks to fill in the potholes on 200 as well as dumping a 1/4 load of rocks on 475th and leaving it. It's like the lunch bell went off and they were done. From what I understand there is more to road work than just dumping it. I think you have to smooth it out. Anyway, it helped. Thanks, PC.
